Aspen Gull

Idaho FabricL9187-02

Aspen Gull is a soft pale grey with a subtle heathered look and a gently nubbly, open weave. The surface feels calm and understated, with just enough texture to keep the colourway from reading flat.

About this fabric

Woven in a 135cm approx width, Aspen Gull combines 38% Linen, 31% Wool, 17% Viscose, 13% Cotton and 1% Polyamide, with a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx. The cloth shows a fine basket-like texture with light and darker yarns blended through a cool grey ground, giving it a chalky, softly melanged finish. That mix of fibres adds a dry natural character, while the wool and viscose help the surface look slightly cushioned rather than crisp. It is a versatile plain with no directional pattern, making it easy to use across upholstered pieces or softer decorative applications.

How to use it

Its muted grey tone works well with oak, limestone and linen, especially in calm contemporary rooms. Use it on a clean-lined sofa or relaxed curtains where the woven texture can add quiet depth without overpowering the scheme.

A quietly textured neutral that layers easily with natural woods and brushed metals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
