Aspen Sea Glass

Idaho FabricL9187-03

Aspen Sea Glass shows a pale, cool grey with a gentle sea-glass cast and a finely textured, understated surface. The weave reads as softly mottled rather than flat, giving the cloth quiet depth in the light.

About this fabric

From Larsen’s Idaho collection, this fabric is a 38% linen, 31% wool, 17% viscose, 13% cotton and 1% polyamide blend with an approximate width of 135cm. The repeat is listed as V 0cm / H 0cm approx, which suits the restrained, unpatterned look visible here. In this colourway, the yarns blend into a muted silver-grey with a cool, coastal feel and just enough warmth from the natural fibres to stop it looking harsh. The surface has a neat, fine woven texture that catches the light subtly rather than shining, making the cloth feel calm and tailored. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Aspen Sea Glass where you want a soft, quiet neutral that won’t overpower wood, stone or painted finishes. It works especially well with chalky whites, pale oak and deeper blue-grey accents.

A calm, coastal neutral that works neatly on upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
