Atlas Ebony

Idaho FabricL9409-06

Atlas Ebony shows a tight, rhythmic chevron that reads as a refined small check from a distance and a graphic woven pattern up close. The contrast between the pale ground and dark motif gives it a crisp, tailored look.

About this fabric

Woven in a 36% Wool, 22% Viscose, 20% Linen, 12% Cotton, 10% Polyester blend, Atlas Ebony has the dry, tactile character you’d expect from a fabric with visible wool and linen content. The small repeat of approximately V 6cm / H 7cm creates a neat, disciplined surface, while the 140cm width makes it practical for upholstery projects and wider soft furnishings. In this colourway, the pattern sits on a warm ivory ground with charcoal-grey motifs, so the overall effect is lighter and more open than a true black-and-white contrast. The texture catches the light softly, giving the fabric a smart, slightly rustic depth rather than a flat printed finish. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for specification purposes.

How to use it

Use Atlas Ebony to bring quiet structure to an armchair, bench or cushions, especially in rooms with oak, stone or black accents. The ivory ground keeps it from feeling heavy, while the charcoal pattern adds just enough definition for contemporary or classic schemes.

A crisp small-scale weave that feels tailored and versatile, with enough depth for upholstery and enough lightness for soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
