About this fabric
Woven in 51% viscose, 29% wool, 9% cotton, 9% linen and 2% polyamide, Vail Gull has the substance and handle expected of a true upholstery fabric. The surface shows a small, tightly packed boucle-style texture that catches the light softly, giving the colour a warm, chalky greige appearance with subtle tonal variation. Its 135cm approximate width and zero repeat make it an easy choice for tailored furniture and clean-lined interior schemes. The restrained palette feels lighter than stone but warmer than a cool grey, which helps it sit comfortably in both contemporary and classic rooms.
How to use it
Use Vail Gull on a curved armchair, banquette or headboard where its soft texture can add depth without introducing pattern. It pairs especially well with pale oak, putty paintwork and muted bronze details.
