About this fabric

This fabric from Jane Churchill’s Rousseau - Atmosphere VIII collection is woven in 87% viscose, 7% polyester and 6% silk, with an approximate width of 128cm and a repeat of V 16cm / H 16cm. The surface shows a soft, lightly lustrous ground with a subtle slubbed texture that suits the fine, decorative pattern. Each vertical motif is ivory to silver at the edges with a slender gold centre, so the overall effect is airy, refined and gently metallic. The restrained palette keeps the design cool and pale, while the gold detailing adds warmth and depth without making the cloth feel flashy. With its BM fire code and mid-weight appearance, it works neatly as either upholstery or drapery depending on the scheme.

How to use it

This colourway works well in rooms that need a light, polished finish, especially alongside stone, oak and brushed brass. Use it for elegant curtains or tailored seating where the silver ground and gold detail can catch the light.
