Rousseau Silver/Blush

Rousseau - Atmosphere VIII FabricJ0165-02

Rousseau Silver/Blush shows a layered botanical pattern in hushed silver, blush pink and muted sage on a pale ground. The design reads airy and decorative, with a softly reflective finish that gives the leaves and fronds gentle depth.

About this fabric

This fabric is a 65% Cotton, 18% Viscose, 17% Polyester textile with an approximate width of 126cm and a large vertical and horizontal repeat of 63cm. In this colourway, the foliage motif feels misty and refined, with pale silver-grey leaves, blush arcs and touches of sage and cream crossing the surface in a calm, rhythmic layout. The overall effect is lighter than a stronger botanical print, because the colours sit close together and the ground remains soft and subdued. It should work well for curtains or statement upholstery where a decorative but not overpowering pattern is wanted.

How to use it

Use it in a light-filled sitting room with limestone, pale oak and brushed metal details to echo the cool silver notes. The blush accents add enough warmth to sit comfortably alongside taupe upholstery or soft grey paint.

Pair with chalky neutrals or pale timber to let the silver and blush embroidery-style motif stay airy.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Rousseau Silver/Blush without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
