About this fabric

Ria Charcoal from the Sansa collection by Jane Churchill is composed of 45% Cotton, 44% Viscose and 11% Linen, giving it a refined woven handle with a softly structured finish. The design has a vertical 3cm repeat and horizontal 2cm repeat approximately, which creates a tight, rhythmic grid across the cloth. In this colourway, the charcoal ground sits against a light neutral base, so the motif looks sharp but not harsh, with enough contrast to show the weave clearly. At approximately 140cm wide and with BM fire code certification, it is a practical choice for considered interior schemes.

How to use it

Use this soft charcoal version to add subtle pattern to tailored upholstery, or to bring quiet structure to blinds and curtains. It sits especially well with pale oak, stone, and brushed metal finishes.

A neat small-scale weave that works beautifully across upholstery and drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
