Bergamo Shadow

Bergamo Fabric

Bergamo Shadow has a cool, charcoal-grey presence, shown here in a close-up of softly folded cloth. Its compact woven surface gives the colour gentle variation rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric

The fabric appears as a dense, small-scale weave with a subtly pebbled texture visible across the folds. Shadow sits between mid grey and charcoal, with lighter ridges where the surface catches the light and deeper graphite tones in the recessed areas. There is no printed motif; the interest comes from the closely worked texture and the way it responds to drape. Its substantial-looking handle and compact weave make this colourway particularly suited to upholstery-led schemes.

How to use it

Pair Shadow with pale stone, chalk and cool timber for a calm contemporary room, or use it against blackened metal and deeper grey accents for a more tonal, tailored scheme.

Use Shadow grey on tailored seating where its quiet depth and tactile weave can take focus.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
