Bergamo Chamois

Bergamo Fabric

Bergamo Chamois is shown here as a warm, pale taupe cloth with a softly brushed-looking surface and a gentle tonal variation across its folds. Its quiet colour allows the fine woven grain to remain the main visual detail.

About this fabric

The close view shows a fine, closely set weave with subtle horizontal definition rather than a printed motif. Light catches the raised folds softly, shifting the shade from creamy taupe highlights to deeper mushroom-grey recesses. The fabric falls fluidly in the swatch image while retaining enough visible body to show clean, rounded drape lines. With no additional performance or composition specification supplied, this colourway is best assessed from its visible texture and handle at the sampling stage.

How to use it

Use Chamois as a warm pale taupe foundation for a calm neutral room, where its fine grain can add depth to upholstered forms or softly gathered window treatments. Pair it with chalky whites, mushroom tones and natural timber to echo the swatch’s gentle light-to-shadow movement.

The warm pale taupe tone and fine woven grain bring understated texture to upholstery, curtains and layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
