About this fabric

The grey ground shifts from silvery highlights to deep charcoal shadows as the cloth drapes, making the colour feel layered rather than flat. An irregular cracked motif runs across the surface in medium-scale sections, giving the fabric a distinctive reptile-like texture without a regular repeat. The raised pattern and supple-looking folds create a rich, tactile impression suited to upholstery. Light glances off the ridges while the recessed lines remain darker, adding definition to the cool pewter shade.

How to use it

Use Betelgeuse Pewter on a statement chair, sofa or ottoman where its cool grey tone and embossed sheen can be appreciated up close. Pair it with charcoal, smoked glass and pale stone for a sleek, atmospheric scheme.

Use this cool pewter shade to bring sculptural texture and a softly reflective finish to contemporary upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
