Blanik Shadow

Blanik Fabric

Blanik Shadow is a deep, smoky grey textile with a softly brushed surface that catches the light across its relaxed folds. Its quiet tonal variation gives the plain cloth a sense of depth without a visible motif.

About this fabric

The colour reads as cool charcoal grey, softened by fine lighter fibres that create a subtle, almost heathered effect across the surface. A delicate vertical texture and gently lustrous nap become more apparent where the fabric bends, giving the draped sample a fluid, tactile character. From the image, the cloth appears versatile enough for both upholstery and drapery. No composition, width, rub test or additional performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use this shadow-grey colourway on a contemporary chair or relaxed curtain, balancing its cool depth with chalky whites, pale timber and warm metal accents.

Use the cool shadow-grey tone to bring quiet depth to upholstery, curtains or layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
