About this fabric

Coborn Pewter from Ashley Wilde’s Essential Weaves Vol 1 is a drapes-only fabric woven in 67% polyester and 33% cotton. At 140cm wide and 248gsm, it has enough substance to hang neatly while still reading as a refined textile rather than a heavy upholstery cloth. The image shows a cool pewter grey with a subtle linen-like texture and a very fine vertical and horizontal rhythm that catches the light without obvious contrast. Its overall effect is smart and restrained, with a softly technical finish suited to clean window dressings.

How to use it

Use Coborn Pewter for tailored curtains, Roman blinds or layered sheers in contemporary interiors. The cool grey tone works especially well with pale oak, black accents and crisp white walls.

Pair with crisp white or charcoal for a clean, tailored window treatment.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
