About this fabric

The cool pewter-grey ground is covered with closely packed charcoal-grey lines that resemble compressed ripples or irregular animal markings. The velvet texture gives the pale and dark greys a softly light-catching contrast rather than a flat appearance. Specified at 547 gsm, with a 23 cm vertical repeat and 35 cm horizontal repeat, the fabric has a substantial presence and an all-over pattern suited to upholstery. Its 140 cm usable width, 30 m standard length and 66 threads per cm are recorded in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Use this cool pewter colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its muted grey depth can sit alongside charcoal, chalk and brushed-metal accents. The small, restless motif works particularly well as a textural counterpoint to plain upholstery and smooth painted surfaces.
