About this fabric

The close woven surface combines fine vertical striations with delicate changes between cool grey and softened ivory, creating depth without a visible motif. At 394 gsm and 143 cm usable width, Mineral Echo has the substantial presence expected of an upholstery textile. The supplied construction is 17 threads per cm, and no pattern repeat is recorded, so the textured appearance can run continuously across a piece. Light catches the raised and darker threads subtly, keeping the overall colour calm rather than flat.

How to use it

Use this pale mineral grey on a tailored sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its cool, chalky tone can temper warmer timber and add a clean layer to neutral schemes. Pair it with brushed metal, stone and softly contrasting charcoal textiles to draw out the weave’s understated vertical depth.

A substantial, softly textured grey weave for tailored upholstery where quiet tonal variation adds depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
