About this fabric

The muted ginger tone leans towards earthy terracotta, with lighter threads creating subtle depth instead of a flat block of colour. Its close weave has a visible crosshatched surface that catches the light in small, restrained flecks. At 394 gsm, it has a substantial weight suited to upholstery, with a usable width of 143 cm. The 17 threads-per-cm construction and 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats make this a non-directional textured cloth rather than a repeating motif.

How to use it

Use Mineral Ginger on an armchair, sofa or dining seat where its warm terracotta tone can add gentle depth to cream, putty and natural timber schemes. Its softly varied surface also works well alongside woven neutrals and aged brass accents.

A substantial, softly mottled weave for relaxed upholstered pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
