Harlequin

Mineral Ink

Mineral FabricHAF0577-05

Mineral Ink has a deep, cool blue-grey tone with a softly mottled surface that shifts gently between ink, slate and charcoal. Fine vertical striations give the plain weave quiet movement without introducing a visible motif.

About this fabric

This Harlequin Mineral colourway reads as a dark, atmospheric blue-grey, with the cooler ink tones becoming more apparent across the surface. Close up, the weave shows fine vertical texture and small tonal variations rather than a printed pattern. At 394 gsm, with 17 threads per cm, it has the substantial presence expected of a robust woven upholstery cloth. The supplied 143 cm usable width and zero-centimetre pattern repeats make the fabric straightforward to position across plain upholstered forms.

How to use it

Pair Mineral Ink with pale stone, chalky grey or weathered timber to balance its cool depth. Its slate-blue cast also works well as a grounding upholstery colour in a darker, tailored scheme.

Use the cool, deep blue-grey tone to bring tailored depth to upholstered seating and headboards.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
