Kimono Sky/Indigo layers a pale, almost chalky sky-blue ground with loose indigo strokes that sweep across the surface in overlapping, leaf-like arcs. The cool palette keeps the generous organic pattern light and airy, while the darker blue marks add definition.

About this fabric

This 288gsm Kasuri fabric has a broad 302cm usable width, making the repeating composition easy to appreciate across wide curtains as well as upholstered pieces. Its pattern repeat measures 126.5cm vertically by 150cm horizontally, with the curved brushstroke forms appearing in staggered, overlapping bands. The indigo varies from soft, hazy outlines to denser blue accents, creating depth without losing the freshness of the pale blue ground. A specification of 29 threads per centimetre gives the cloth a substantial, closely constructed feel.

How to use it

Use Kimono Sky/Indigo to cool a room with pale upholstery, or let its 302cm width create expansive curtains where the sweeping indigo arcs can read at full scale. It works especially well with chalky whites, bleached timber and quiet grey-blue accents.

Use the cool sky-blue ground and brushed indigo movement to bring a light, graphic softness to upholstery, cushions or full-width curtains.
