About this fabric

Catalogued for outdoor use, this 388 gsm fabric has the substance expected of a practical upholstery weave. Its fine indigo-and-chalk pattern forms small interlocking diamonds and zigzag outlines, with the pale threads softening the depth of the blue. The 3.5 cm vertical and 4 cm horizontal repeat keeps the geometry compact and easy to read across a larger upholstered surface. At 142 cm wide and woven at 21 threads per cm, Nalani offers a dense, tactile finish with a smart contemporary character.

How to use it

Use Nalani Indigo/Chalk on outdoor seat cushions, occasional chairs or a built-in banquette where its cool blue ground can sit against chalk, white, pale timber and weathered grey finishes. The small-scale geometry also works well as a coordinated accent on cushions or panels without overwhelming the room.
