Avri Indigo/Sky

Kasuri Fabrics FabricHAF0603-01

Avri Indigo/Sky pairs a deep, cool indigo ground with fine sky-blue lines that form a densely layered pattern of curved, segmented shapes. The dark colour gives the design depth, while the lighter tracing keeps the surface finely articulated.

About this fabric

At 435 gsm, this is a substantial woven textile suited to upholstery, with a close surface that gives the indigo ground a softly textured, low-key appearance. Pale sky-blue lines sweep through overlapping fan- and leaf-like forms, creating movement without breaking the richness of the dark blue base. The pattern repeats vertically every 23 cm and horizontally every 22.5 cm, so its geometry remains clearly present across a larger upholstered surface. It has a 136 cm usable width and a thread count of 86 threads per cm.

How to use it

Use Avri Indigo/Sky on a modern armchair, sofa or dining seat where its deep indigo tone can provide a strong cool anchor. Pair it with charcoal, chalky blue or warm timber, allowing the sky-blue linework to act as a subtle connecting detail.

Use this cool, deep indigo ground to anchor contemporary upholstery, with the sky-blue curved lines adding restrained movement.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
