About this fabric

This dense textile uses pale neutral, aqua and deeper blue yarns to create a compact, broken check-like surface with a subtly tactile finish. At 564 gsm and 22 threads per cm, it has a substantial handle suited to upholstery rather than a light, fluid drape. The pattern repeat is deliberately small at 2 cm vertically and 1.5 cm horizontally, keeping the design detailed without introducing a dominant motif. With a 140 cm usable width and an Outdoor catalogue classification, Solea Azul/Aqua is a practical choice for hard-working upholstered pieces where its cool colouring can remain clear and lively.

How to use it

Use the cool aqua-blue tone to freshen outdoor seating, ottomans or bench cushions, pairing it with pale stone, white or weathered timber. The finely scaled weave also works well when a patterned upholstery fabric is wanted without a strong, oversized graphic.
