Ochiba Frost

Kasuri Fabrics FabricHAF0625-01

Ochiba Frost has a pale, cool ivory ground crossed by fine taupe-grey lines that form a repeating faceted diamond pattern. The closely spaced geometry gives the light colourway subtle depth, especially where the textured surface catches the light.

About this fabric

At 510 gsm, Ochiba Frost is a substantial textile suited to upholstery. Its frost-ivory ground is patterned with tightly repeated diamond and faceted-cube forms, picked out by fine taupe-grey lines. The 7.8 cm vertical by 4.3 cm horizontal repeat creates a compact, even rhythm across the cloth. With a 133 cm usable width and 35.5 threads per cm, it has a densely structured surface for tailored seating and other upholstery work.

How to use it

Pair Ochiba Frost with warm timber, chalky painted finishes or soft grey upholstery details to keep the room bright while allowing its fine geometric texture to provide definition. Its cool ivory tone is particularly effective on structured chairs, headboards and occasional seating.

Use its cool ivory ground and fine taupe geometry to brighten tailored seating without losing pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
