Kengai Blossom/Chalk

Kengai Blossom/Chalk layers dusty blush botanical branches over a pale chalk ground, creating a softly washed pattern with a gentle, paper-like delicacy. Fine horizontal striations across the image add subtle depth beneath the irregular leafy forms.

About this fabric

The design shows branching stems, clustered leaves and small blossom-like shapes in a muted blush-beige tone against a warm chalk background. Supplied as wallpaper, it has a useable width of 68.6 cm and a standard roll length of 10.05 m. The vertical pattern repeat is 68.6 cm, while the horizontal repeat is listed as 0 cm. Its low-contrast palette keeps the motif airy: the blush marks read softly rather than brightly, with the pale ground remaining dominant.

How to use it

Use this chalk-and-blush colourway in a bedroom, dressing room or quiet sitting space with warm ivory paint, pale oak and muted rose textiles. Its softly faded botanical pattern works especially well where a little tonal movement is wanted without a strong contrast.

Pair the chalk ground and dusty blush branches with warm ivory, pale timber and muted rose accents for a calm, softly layered scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
