Kengai Pearl/Parchment

Kasuri Wallcoverings WallpaperHAW0305-02

Kengai Pearl/Parchment presents a softly luminous ground of pearl cream, overlaid with pale parchment fragments that drift across the surface. Fine horizontal lines remain visible beneath the irregular, lightly weathered motif.

About this fabric

The colourway stays delicate and low-contrast: warm parchment-beige marks sit within a pale pearl field, with brighter areas catching the light almost like softened brushwork. A fine horizontal texture gives the otherwise airy design quiet linear depth. This wallpaper has a usable width of 68.6 cm and a standard length of 10.05 m. Its vertical pattern repeat is 68.6 cm, while the horizontal repeat is 0 cm, allowing the broken motif to continue without a stated side-to-side repeat.

How to use it

Use Pearl/Parchment across a bedroom, hallway or softly furnished sitting room where its warm ivory tone can sit alongside natural timber, chalky paint and understated linen. Keep surrounding colours pale to preserve the wallpaper’s gentle contrast and lightly atmospheric character.

Use this quiet pearl-and-parchment ground to bring subtle layered movement to calm, light-filled rooms.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kengai Pearl/Parchment without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
