Harlequin

Hikari Parchment/Cloud

Hikari Parchment/Cloud pairs a warm parchment ground with cloud-white angular forms, creating a pale geometric surface with gentle depth. The low-contrast pattern reveals a softly tactile woven texture rather than a sharp printed finish.

About this fabric

The design is formed from repeated arrow-like shapes and pale triangular fragments, with the cloud-white motifs standing clearly against the lightly mottled parchment background. At 287gsm, this is a versatile mid-weight textile suitable for both upholstery and drapery, while its 292.6cm usable width is particularly useful for broad curtain drops or large upholstered panels. The pattern repeats every 49cm horizontally and 50.8cm vertically, giving the angular arrangement a measured, architectural rhythm. A fine 35.5 threads-per-cm construction adds subtle surface texture to the quiet cream-and-white colourway.

How to use it

Use the warm parchment tone to soften a neutral seating scheme, or pair it with chalky whites, pale timber and brushed metal for a light, contemporary room. The cloud-white geometry also works well on full-height curtains where the subtle contrast can be seen across a wider expanse.

Use this softly contrasting parchment-and-cloud geometric for tailored upholstery, relaxed curtains or coordinated cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hikari Parchment/Cloud without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
