Mineral Laurel

Mineral FabricHAF0577-22

Mineral Laurel reads as a quiet mushroom taupe, with fine intersecting threads creating a softly mottled surface rather than a printed motif. Its warm-grey cast shifts gently across the close-up as the weave catches the light.

About this fabric

The plain woven face is built from closely packed vertical and horizontal yarns, giving the swatch a subtle crosshatched grain and low, even sheen. At 394 gsm, it has the visual substance of an upholstery cloth rather than a fine, fluid drapery textile. The 143 cm usable width provides a practical working span for upholstery panels and cushions. No pattern repeat is specified, with both vertical and horizontal repeats recorded as 0 cm, so the quiet texture can be positioned without matching a design.

How to use it

Pair this muted mushroom taupe with chalky whites, weathered timber and soft charcoal for a calm, warm-grey scheme. Its understated woven texture also works well on tailored dining chairs, ottomans and contemporary sofas.

A substantial mushroom-taupe weave for quietly tailored upholstery and textural neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
