Glyptic Bronze combines a rich, burnished bronze-orange ground with a pale irregular cellular lattice. The warm base gives the geometric surface a softly glowing, dimensional appearance.

About this fabric

The design is formed from closely spaced, off-white lines that create uneven honeycomb-like cells across the bronze ground. Its warm terracotta-bronze tone is deeper in the denser areas of the weave, while the light lattice catches the surface and keeps the pattern crisp. At 310 gsm and 326 threads per cm, this is a substantial woven textile with a defined handle and visible structure. The pattern repeats every 24 cm vertically and 22.9 cm horizontally across the 137 cm usable width, with a standard length of 40 m.

How to use it

Pair Glyptic Bronze with warm ivory, walnut and aged brass for a grounded, graphic scheme. Its burnished orange-brown depth works particularly well on statement upholstery, accent cushions or curtains where the pale lattice can be seen across the surface.

Use the warm bronze ground and pale lattice to add graphic texture to upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Glyptic Bronze without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
