About this fabric

The fabric combines a soft platinum-grey background with chalky ivory fern branches, whose overlapping stems and fine leaflets create a clearly directional botanical pattern. Its 142 cm usable width and 340 gsm weight give the cloth a substantial mid-weight presence suitable for both upholstery and drapery. A 62.5 cm vertical repeat and 70 cm horizontal repeat allow the branching motif to continue across the width while retaining its leafy definition. The 190 threads per cm specification is consistent with the close, finely detailed surface visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Use this cool platinum-grey colourway to soften charcoal, pale oak or limestone schemes, where the ivory foliage can read as a restrained botanical accent. Its 142 cm usable width also makes it practical for broad curtain drops or upholstered panels.

The cool platinum ground and chalky fern pattern suit tailored upholstery, Roman blinds and softly structured curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Extravagence Platinum without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
