Seduire Gold

Leonida Velvets Edit VelvetHAF0240-01

Seduire Gold combines a softly luminous taupe-gold ground with a dense, irregular pattern in lighter cream-gold tones. The close-set organic marks create a textured, almost topographical effect across the velvet surface.

About this fabric

This Harlequin velvet weighs 547 gsm, giving the cloth a substantial handle suited to upholstery. Its warm taupe base is gently deepened by brownish shading, while the lighter, sinuous motifs catch the light with a softly plush appearance rather than a sharp contrast. The design repeats every 23 cm vertically and 35 cm horizontally, keeping the small-scale pattern visually continuous across a chair, headboard or sofa. With a 140 cm usable width and 66 threads per cm, Seduire Gold offers a densely made, richly tactile surface for considered interior schemes.

How to use it

Pair this muted taupe-gold colourway with oatmeal, warm ivory and aged timber for a calm, layered room, or use it against dark brown accents to draw out the velvet’s depth. Its small, fluid repeat is especially effective on compact upholstered pieces where the pattern can be appreciated up close.

Use this warm taupe-gold velvet to bring softly patterned depth to upholstered seating and occasional chairs.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Seduire Gold without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
