Zamarra Saffron

Mirador Fabrics FabricHAF0392-02

Zamarra Saffron pairs a rich saffron-ochre ground with fine ivory linear triangles arranged in strong vertical bands. The warm, sunlit colour gives the geometric design a deeper and more earthen character.

About this fabric

This substantial 500 gsm fabric has a pronounced woven presence, making it particularly well suited to upholstery. Narrow ivory lines trace nested triangular forms across the saffron ground, creating a rhythmic pattern that reads clearly from a distance while retaining intricate detail close up. The fabric has a usable width of 139 cm, with a 120 cm vertical repeat and 70 cm horizontal repeat for considered pattern placement. Its dense construction is reflected in the supplied count of 136 threads per cm, while the gold-ochre tone adds warmth rather than a bright, yellow finish.

How to use it

Use Zamarra Saffron on a statement armchair, dining seat or tailored sofa where its warm ochre tone can sit alongside natural timber, ivory upholstery plains and dark bronze accents. Align the vertical geometric bands to emphasise the height of a chair or headboard.

Use this warm saffron-and-ivory geometric weave to bring graphic structure and golden depth to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Zamarra Saffron without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
