Sabi Saffron

Mirador Fabrics FabricHAF0388-01

Sabi Saffron has a richly mottled surface of saffron ochre, cream, tan and dark brown flecks, with fine vertical movement visible across the cloth. Its warm, earthy depth gives the colourway a softly variegated appearance rather than a flat yellow finish.

About this fabric

The densely packed, small-scale flecks create a tactile-looking woven texture, while the darker brown and black notes add definition through the golden ground. At 252 gsm, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The 138.5 cm usable width supports broad applications, and the design has a 43.5 cm vertical repeat with a 69 cm horizontal repeat. A thread count of 38 threads per cm reflects the closely woven appearance visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Pair Sabi Saffron with warm woods, natural linens and deep brown accents to draw out its earthy ochre tones. Its finely varied surface works equally well on a relaxed chair or as textured curtains where the flecks can catch changing light.

Use this warm, densely flecked saffron weave to add finely textured colour to upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sabi Saffron without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
