Aralia Pewter

Hilda FabricL9155-09

Aralia Pewter reads as a cool, quietly metallic grey with a softly mottled linen look. The surface has a dry, understated texture that keeps the colour feeling refined rather than flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 52% Linen, 38% Viscose and 10% Polyamide, Aralia has the natural slub and gentle irregularity you can see across the cloth, softened by the smoother viscose content. In this Pewter colourway, the shade sits between stone and steel grey, giving the fabric a calm, contemporary finish with just a faint silvery lift in the light. The plain repeat and approximate 140cm width make it straightforward for upholstery, curtains or other coordinated soft-furnishing projects. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this pewter grey as a grounding neutral with pale oak, blackened metal and soft white walls. It is especially effective where you want a crisp, smart backdrop without the heaviness of charcoal.

A restrained pewter grey that works well across seating and soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
