About this fabric

The design is formed from vertically stacked, feather- or shield-like shapes, with softly blurred edges that create an ikat-inspired rhythm across the cloth. Pewter, pale grey and ivory tones keep the colourway muted and atmospheric, while charcoal tracing adds definition without making the pattern feel harsh. The pattern repeat measures 15.5cm vertically by 22.5cm horizontally, giving the motif a noticeable but manageable medium scale. With a 204gsm weight and 138cm usable width, this fabric offers a versatile mid-weight option for upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Use Velluto Pewter to soften a charcoal or black-framed chair, or introduce it to curtains and cushions alongside warm ivory, stone and brushed metal. Its cool grey depth works particularly well where a room needs pattern without a strong saturated colour.

Use the cool pewter ground with charcoal and ivory accents to bring definition to contemporary upholstery, cushions or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Velluto Pewter without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
