Velluto Midnight

Dimora FabricCCF0616-01

Velluto Midnight brings a deep, cool midnight-blue ground to the Dimora collection, patterned with tightly repeated ikat-style ogees and diamond forms. Ochre-gold, cream and muted teal accents catch across the woven surface, giving the colourway a layered, graphic depth.

About this fabric

The fabric has a richly textured woven appearance, with irregular-edged motifs arranged in a compact repeat rather than a smooth printed finish. Its dark blue foundation makes the ochre-gold centres and cream outlines particularly vivid, while the teal details soften the contrast. At 204gsm and 138cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight suited to both upholstery and drapery. The pattern repeats every 15.5cm vertically and 22.5cm horizontally, making the rhythm easy to read across a larger piece.

How to use it

Pair Velluto Midnight with warm ivory, charcoal or aged timber to draw out its cool blue depth, or echo the ochre-gold accents with brass and camel details. Its compact geometric repeat works especially well on occasional chairs, cushions and structured curtains.

Use this richly patterned midnight blue weave to add depth to upholstery or structured curtains, balancing its ochre and cream details with quiet neutrals.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Velluto Midnight without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
