About this fabric
This substantial 536gsm fabric is presented in a 138cm usable width, making it particularly suitable for upholstery applications. Fine horizontal and vertical lines overlap across the surface, forming an irregular crosshatch that is softened by variations in the pewter-grey tone. The 35cm vertical and 35cm horizontal repeat gives the design a measured rhythm while retaining the impression of a naturally aged textile. Light catches the raised and recessed parts of the weave, bringing out subtle pale-grey highlights against the deeper taupe-grey base.
How to use it
Use Patina Pewter on a tailored sofa, dining chair or footstool where its cool grey-taupe colouring can sit comfortably with chalky whites, stone, timber and aged metal. The restrained crosshatch brings texture to a room without introducing a strong directional motif.
