Patina Damson

Dimensions FabricCCF0074-03

Patina Damson brings a deep, dusky plum ground to the Dimensions collection. Across the surface, pale threads form a tightly worked, irregular crosshatch that gives this colourway a chalked, tactile finish.

About this fabric

Patina Damson is a dense, tactile woven textile with a deep damson-purple ground broken by fine ivory and mauve threads in an irregular crosshatched grid. The layered surface shifts between plum, aubergine and softened berry tones as the pale yarns interrupt the colour. At 536 gsm and 138 cm usable width, it has a substantial handle suited to upholstery. The design repeats 35 cm vertically and horizontally, giving the all-over texture a measured structure rather than a single oversized motif.

How to use it

Use this muted damson-purple on an armchair, headboard or occasional sofa where its deep berry tone can anchor a room. Balance the cool plum depth with chalky creams, warm timber and softly aged metals to pick up the pale threads in the weave.

A substantial damson-purple weave with pale crosshatch texture for upholstered seating and statement pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
