About this fabric
Onda Steel is a substantial 514gsm woven fabric, making its weight well suited to upholstery. Its cool steel-grey ground carries a restrained mauve cast, while lighter taupe-grey lines create the impression of sinuous, elongated channels across the surface. The organic pattern repeats every 31cm vertically and 17.5cm horizontally, producing a continuous rhythm without a rigid geometric edge. It has a 138cm usable width and a standard length of 40m.
How to use it
Use Onda Steel on a sofa, occasional chair or headboard where its cool grey tone can temper warmer timber and brass. Keep surrounding upholstery simple so the pale, flowing lines remain visible as the defining detail.
