About this fabric

The charcoal ground shifts between graphite, slate and lighter silvery grey, while the cloudy marks break up the vertical ribbed texture visible across the swatch. Its 41 cm vertical repeat and 46.3 cm horizontal repeat create a medium-scale abstract pattern rather than a tightly uniform stripe. At 215 gsm and 139 cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight option for upholstery or drapery. The standard length is 40 m, useful when planning larger coordinated installations.

How to use it

Pair this cool charcoal colourway with pale grey, chalk white and brushed metal for a crisp contemporary room, or use it against warm timber to soften its stormy depth. The mottled vertical movement works particularly well on tailored seating, relaxed curtains and cushions where the shifting light greys can be seen.

Use this cool charcoal ground to add smoky depth to contemporary upholstery, curtains or layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
