Sirocco Kingfisher

Diffusion FabricCCF0454-04

Sirocco Kingfisher has a cool, misted blue-teal ground with fine vertical texture running through the cloth. Pale washed markings and blurred organic motifs give the surface a softly weathered, atmospheric appearance.

About this fabric

At 215 gsm and 139 cm usable width, Sirocco Kingfisher is a versatile mid-weight fabric suitable for upholstery and drapery. Its blue-grey kingfisher tone is softened by lighter cloudy areas, while darker teal threads add depth between the closely spaced vertical lines. Faded, indistinct botanical or abstract marks appear across the surface rather than forming a sharply defined repeat, creating a relaxed, timeworn effect. The pattern has a 41 cm vertical repeat and a 46.3 cm horizontal repeat, with a standard length of 40 m.

How to use it

Use the cool, subdued blue-teal shade to bring depth to a pale coastal, contemporary or weathered scheme. It works particularly well against chalky grey walls, bleached timber and brushed silver accents.

Use this cool blue-teal colourway for relaxed upholstery, cushions or softly structured curtains, pairing it with pale greys and weathered woods.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sirocco Kingfisher without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
