Crush Midnight

Crush FabricCCF0054-17

Crush Midnight is a deeply saturated navy textile with an almost black, irregularly mottled surface. Its crushed pile shifts between soft blue highlights and dense ink-dark patches as the light moves across the cloth.

About this fabric

The visible surface has a plush, crushed texture, with uneven dark markings layered over the midnight-blue ground rather than a clearly defined printed motif. At 580 gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery, where its dense handle and light-catching pile can add depth to a chair, sofa or headboard. The usable width is 140 cm and the standard length is 30 m. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0 cm, making the mottled surface non-directional for cutting.

How to use it

Use Crush Midnight on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard in a room with warm timber, aged brass or soft charcoal accents. Its cool, inky tone works especially well against pale walls, while the crushed pile brings subtle movement without introducing a separate colour pattern.

Use its inky navy depth and light-catching crushed texture to give upholstered seating a dramatic, cocooning finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
