About this fabric

The 250 gsm fabric has a visibly woven, lightly irregular texture, making it a versatile mid-weight choice for upholstery and drapery. Broad vertical bands run through the design, with deep blue-green sections softened by pale grey, silvery blue and near-white threads. The pattern repeat measures 27.5 cm vertically by 23.2 cm horizontally, giving the layered striation a measured rhythm across the cloth. With a usable width of 139 cm and a standard length of 40 m, it is practical for coordinated interior schemes.

How to use it

Use this cool blue colourway to bring depth to a contemporary room, pairing its pale grey striations with soft grey upholstery, whitewashed timber or brushed metal. The vertical movement can work especially well on curtains, while the 250 gsm weight also suits occasional upholstery and cushions.

A cool, textured blue with pale vertical striations for contemporary upholstery, cushions or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Contour Kingfisher without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
