Haze Kingfisher

Diffusion FabricCCF0438-04

Haze Kingfisher has a cool, misted blue ground marked by pale, cloud-like areas that drift across its fine vertical texture. The softly varied surface gives the colourway depth without a hard-edged motif.

About this fabric

This 320gsm fabric has a visibly ribbed, vertically striated weave, overlaid with blurred patches of icy blue and near-white. Deeper kingfisher notes show between the lighter marks, creating a gently atmospheric finish rather than a flat blue. With a 139cm usable width and a 52cm vertical pattern repeat, the design offers enough scale for considered placement on larger surfaces. Its mid-weight construction makes it suitable for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Pair the cool kingfisher tone with chalky whites, pale grey and weathered timber for a light, airy room, or use it against deeper navy accents to draw out the blue’s layered depth. The vertical texture works particularly well on an occasional chair, headboard or softly made curtain.

Use this cool, softly clouded blue to bring textured depth to upholstery, curtains or layered coastal-inspired schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Haze Kingfisher without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
