Luster Kingfisher

Diffusion FabricCCF0442-04

Luster Kingfisher has a cool teal-blue ground animated by pale, silvery marks that gather into soft feathered and wave-like forms. Closely woven linear texture gives the surface subtle depth as the light moves across it.

About this fabric

The pattern is formed from flowing, concentric lines that create an organic feather effect, with muted blue-grey highlights breaking through the deeper kingfisher tone. Fine pale threads catch the light across the woven surface, giving the colourway a softly weathered, tactile appearance rather than a flat blue finish. At 286 gsm, the cloth has the substance of a versatile mid-weight suitable for upholstery or drapery. It is supplied at a 139 cm usable width, with a 24.5 cm vertical repeat and a 23.2 cm horizontal repeat for planning pattern placement.

How to use it

Use this cool kingfisher teal on a statement chair, ottoman or full-length curtain where its silvery feathered lines can soften the depth of the blue. It works especially well with pale grey, chalky neutrals and brushed metal accents that echo the lighter woven threads.

A cool teal woven design with pale, feather-like movement for upholstery or drapery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Luster Kingfisher without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
