Haze Charcoal

Diffusion FabricCCF0438-01

Haze Charcoal has a cool charcoal-grey ground threaded with fine vertical striations and softly blurred pale-grey bands. The layered weave gives the surface a misty, weathered appearance without losing its directional rhythm.

About this fabric

Fine vertical lines run continuously through Haze Charcoal, while irregular pale-grey clouding breaks across the darker ground to create subtle tonal depth. At 320 gsm and 139 cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight fabric suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The design has a 52 cm vertical repeat and no horizontal repeat, keeping the pattern focused on its elongated, vertically drawn texture. The standard length is 40 m, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Use Haze Charcoal on a contemporary occasional chair or full-height curtains where its cool, smoky grey tones can sit alongside chalk, blackened metal and pale timber. Its vertical texture also works well on cushions or a softly tailored headboard for a more layered charcoal scheme.

Use the cool charcoal ground to bring depth to contemporary upholstery, cushions or softly structured window treatments.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Haze Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
