About this fabric

The swatch shows a deep sapphire blue with subtle tonal variation, as the dense surface shifts between blue glints and darker woven lines. Its small-scale structure is formed by fine horizontal and vertical lines, creating a softly irregular checked texture rather than a bold motif. The supplied 450 gsm weight and 141 cm usable width give this velvet a substantial specification for upholstery. A 1 cm vertical and horizontal repeat, together with 46 threads per cm, corresponds with the compact texture visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Use Ore Sapphire on a tailored armchair, headboard or compact sofa where its cool, near-ink blue can bring depth without introducing a large pattern. Pair it with pale stone, smoked wood or brushed metal to pick up the swatch’s charcoal undertones.
