About this fabric

The colourway reads as cool and atmospheric, with deeper denim-blue columns breaking through pale blue, white and lightly taupe-nude areas. Fine vertical striations and uneven brush-like edges give the surface visible movement, while brighter sections catch the eye like lightly weathered pigment. This textile is 137 cm wide and has a 103.9 cm vertical repeat by 68.6 cm horizontal repeat, allowing the elongated composition to remain prominent across a larger cut. At 236 gsm with 188.2 threads per cm, it has a substantial mid-weight presence suited to both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use the denim and sky tones to cool a light-filled room, balancing them with ivory upholstery, pale oak and small touches of warm nude or taupe. On curtains, the vertical marks can emphasise height; on a chair or headboard, they create a painterly focal point.

Use its cool blue vertical movement on upholstery or full-length curtains, pairing it with pale stone and warm nude accents.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Estrato Denim/Nude/Sky without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
