About this fabric

The design is filled with broad, veined leaves in deep ink blue, dusty blue-grey and olive-chartreuse, alongside fine fern-like stems, small clustered leaves and pale dandelion-like blooms. Its cool blue tones sit clearly against the light ground, while the chartreuse leaves add restrained warmth and contrast rather than dominating the pattern. Supplied at 300 gsm with a usable width of 137.2 cm, this is a substantial mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. The botanical repeat measures 63 cm vertically and 137.2 cm horizontally, with a recorded thread count of 49.5 threads per cm.

How to use it

Use the pale ground as a bridge between warm white and cool grey furnishings, then echo the ink-blue leaves in painted cabinetry or cushions. Chartreuse and olive accents will draw out the smaller leaves without competing with the pattern’s muted blue depth.

A softly layered botanical design that brings cool ink blues, olive greens and chartreuse onto a pale ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
