About this fabric

The design has a relaxed, hand-drawn botanical character, with rounded leaf forms, delicate stems and small clustered leaves arranged in a repeating layout. Muted emerald, olive, blue-green and plum tones sit against an ivory-stone background, giving the colourway a cool, gently weathered depth rather than a bright, high-contrast effect. At 300 gsm and 137.2 cm wide, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to upholstery and drapery. The pattern repeats every 63 cm vertically and 137.2 cm horizontally, while the 49.5 threads-per-centimetre construction gives the surface a fine, tactile textile presence.

How to use it

Pair Linden/Emerald with warm ivory, pale wood and natural linen to draw out its soft ground, or echo the deeper emerald and blue-green leaves in cushions and painted furniture. It works particularly well on relaxed occasional upholstery, Roman blinds or full-length curtains where the 63 cm vertical repeat can be appreciated.

Use its softly faded greens, blue-greens and plum accents to bring gentle colour to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
