About this fabric

This Harlequin Defined Momentum Velvet has a substantial 693gsm weight, making it especially well suited to upholstery. Its warm amber and muted topaz tones create a softly glowing, earthy colourway rather than a bright orange, while the darker organic outlines give the surface definition. The pattern repeats over 41.5cm vertically and 34.5cm horizontally, producing a consistent but closely scaled rhythm across furniture. The fabric has a 139.5cm usable width and is supplied in a standard 30m length.

How to use it

Bring Molten Amber/Topaz to a reading chair, headboard or compact sofa in a room with walnut, smoked oak or aged brass. Balance its warm rust-and-topaz depth with quiet taupe, clay or natural linen accents.

Use this warm, richly textured velvet on statement upholstery where its rust-toned pattern can add depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
