About this fabric

The surface shows closely spaced vertical lines interrupted by tiny horizontal crossbars, forming a restrained micro-grid with a 1.5 cm vertical and 1 cm horizontal repeat. Its saturated green tone reads cool and shaded rather than bright, while the fine texture prevents the colour from appearing flat. With a substantial weight of 732 gsm and a usable width of 140 cm, this Harlequin velvet is particularly suited to upholstery. The cloth is supplied in a standard 30 m length and has 86 threads per cm.

How to use it

Use Karst Emerald on a structured armchair, sofa or dining seat where its deep green depth and fine linear texture can read clearly across the upholstery. Pair the cool emerald with pale timber, brushed metal or warm neutral walls to balance its shaded richness.
