About this fabric

This heavy 753 gsm velvet is suited to upholstery, with a 141 cm usable width for furnishing applications. The design is made up of small, irregular angular strokes and short crossbars, arranged in a repeating pattern with a 43 cm vertical and 35.5 cm horizontal repeat. In this Moonstone colourway, the cool ivory base is lifted by very subtle blush-beige lines rather than strong contrast, creating a softly layered appearance. The 192 threads per cm specification reflects the closely detailed textile surface visible across the swatch.

How to use it

Use Moonstone on a tailored armchair, headboard or sofa where its pale ivory tone can brighten the form without becoming stark. Pair it with chalky neutrals, warm oak and muted blush accents to pick up the barely-there coloured lines.

Use this pale moonstone velvet to soften tailored upholstery with a quiet, lightly graphic accent.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
